We created the perfect veterinary office for your pet, the one right in your own home!  Having the ability for your pet be treated in his or her own home, allows for less anxiety, behavioral issues, and a much less stressful experience for your pet.  Pet visits can be scheduled to fit into your schedule, so you don’t have to waste the time on driving to the vet’s office.  Happy Tails Holistic Veterinary care services several neighborhoods in the Atlanta metro area, and our focus specializes on dogs and cats of all ages. Not only is this extremely convenient, but it allows for such a more pleasant experience for your pet.

At Happy Tails Holistic Veterinary Care our holistic philosophy is practiced with an integrative approach to veterinary medicine with an emphasis on the latest innovative and research backed alternative therapies to help promote healing and wellness in your pet. Integrative medicine combines a wide variety of alternative and complementary therapies that have a documented positive effect.  Some of the ones our practice focuses on include acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy, and laser therapy.  

We provide a full range of traditional and holistic services, that helps for preventive care, pain management, illness, and routine care such as dental exams and vaccines.  Our vets and technicians are trained to make your pet’s experience as pleasant as possible, allowing for real results and positive changes for your pet’s health.

    Julia Brugliera

    Dr. Julia Brugliera is passionate about your pet.  Starting in the early part of 2009, Dr. Julia has been practicing small animal medicine, holistic medicine and surgery in the Atlanta area.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Georgia, UGA.

    Office Manager and Vet Assistant

    Ava Cooksey joined the Happy Tails Holistic Veterinary Care team in 2018, and provides office managerial support for the veterinary office, as well as being a talented Veterinary Assistant with all our patients. Ava has over 14 years experience as a technician and 5 years experience working in an office management role. Ava has held a passion for animals all of her life, and has always known her career would include her working with animals. Ava was born and raised in Decatur Georgia, and feels grateful to be able to support the Atlanta community and home she loves in providing outstanding holistic and veterinary care to the community. In her free time she enjoys reading, writing, spending time with her boyfriend, and hanging out and hiking with her boxer mix Otis.
